Randolph County has had 100 COVID deaths

While the number of active cases continues to slowly go down, unfortunately, last week, on Oct. 27, Randolph County reached the grim milestone of 100 reported COVID-19 related deaths.

When looking at the statistics of those lost, a total of 45 men and 55 women are reported to have died because of COVID, and , the majority were over the age of 70. 

Breaking it down by age group, the totals are: age 40-49: 1 male, 1 female; age 50-59: 4 male, 2 female; age 60-69: 5 male, 5 female; age 70-79: 11 male, 9 female; age 80-89: 17 male, 17 female; age 90-99: 7 male, 20 female; age 100+: 1 female.
