Last week, Vistra’s special use application for a solar farm in Baldwin was approved by the Randolph County Board of Commissioners.
Vistra has been very open about their plans at the Baldwin Energy Complex, hosting an open house style informational meeting in the gymnasium at Red Bud High School on April 26. They also gave a detailed presentation and answered questions at a Randolph County Zoning Board of Appeals hearing on May 9.
Russ Whitaker, along with two other Vistra representatives, was on hand to discuss the project with the commissioners.
