Red Bud’s K9 program moves forward thanks to donations

Red Bud is one step closer to getting a K9 for the police department after some very generous donations.

On Feb. 23, Police Chief John Brittingham gratefully accepted a check for $12,500 from Roeslein and Associates, Inc. to go towards the program.

“We’re happy to be a part of this initiative and to help the community,” said Roeslein Divisional President – Global Manufacturing Rob Campbell.

Roeslein Plant Manager Mike Umbdenstock added, “It’s a great opportunity for the community, and we’re happy to do what we can.”

Campbell noted that the company’s doors are open to the police department for them to use in training the K9. He feels that this would be a great benefit to not only the police and community, but help to keep their workplace drug free.
