FIRST PLACE FLOAT–There was a lot going on with the float by Roeslein – they had a giant can pouring water, a tin man, lots of cans of water to hand out, as well as multiple can cooler launchers. All of these details added up to them winning the title of first place float in this year’s Red Bud Firemen’s Picnic Parade for the second year in a row. Over the weekend, the weather was perfect, making the Red Bud Firemen’s Picnic a huge success again this year.
“The picnic was great. There was awesome attendance all three nights,” reported Red Bud Fire Chief Sean Landgraf. “The temperature dropped just enough when the sun went down that it felt tolerable. After the Sunday morning rain, the parade weather was beautiful.”
