BROKE GROUND–An official groundbreaking for the Red Bud Business Park was held on the afternoon of April 21. Pictured are those that were in attendance at the event.
It’s been years in the making, but on the afternoon of April 21, a group gathered in a field on the east edge of town as ground was officially broken for the Red Bud Business Park.
Red Bud Mayor Susan Harbaugh welcomed those that came out for the occasion and gave a quick recap of the business park’s history.
“When the Snyder General/ InterCity Products manufacturing facility closed, it left a void in our local economy. But thanks to the vision and determination of a few forward-thinking individuals, we knew we had to act – and act boldly – to bring new industries and opportunities to our town.
“That journey has brought us here today, as we proudly celebrate the opening of our third mixed-use area: the Red Bud Business Park.”
