Senior Nick Fehr has secured a spot at the IHSA State Cross Country meet and will represent Red Bud High School at Detweiler Park course in Peoria on Saturday. He finished in the top 10 at the Wesclin sectional on Oct. 30 to advance.
Fehr has put the time in and his senior year is nothing short of successful. He has accomplished five regular season first place overall finishes as well as All Conference Champion. He followed this with being the first boys cross country regional champion in the history of Red Bud High School. The regional was held at Carterville and Fehr finished with a time of 15:29 on the 2.90 course.
