Two of the biggest items of discussion at Monday night’s Red Bud City Council meeting were both sent back for further discussion at the committee level.
The first was that of engaging a certified general appraiser for the Red Bud Business Park.
City Code Administrator/City Engineer Jeff Mueller explained that the economic development commission had discussed the matter and wanted to hire a certified appraiser to help determine what the city should sell the lots in the business park for. As there wasn’t an agreement ready for the meeting, he said that the council could wait for one to approve, or they could approve with cost not to exceed $4,000 and contingent on the city attorney’s approval.
