City of Red Bud crews worked hard in the cold late last week to repair a water main leak.
City Superintendent Josh Eckart noted that they were told around 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18 of a potential water leak at the corner of South Main and East South 6th Streets, near St. John’s Lutheran School.
“Crews were then dispatched to address the situation. After trying to locate the leak in the grass area behind the curb, we found that it appeared to be coming out from the roadway area,” Eckart stated.
