Trent Sternberg sets new RBHS record

Senior Trent Sternberg’s high school basketball career has landed him in the record books. Sternberg, a guard for the Musketeer team, surpassed the 1500 points mark on Feb. 11 with just seven points left to break the all time scoring record of 1525. This record was set by Brandon Kunkel, a member of the 2005- 2008 Musketeer team. Going into last Friday’s senior night game against Sparta, Sternberg stood at 1518 points.

Having four points on the board, Sternberg nailed a three point shot in the second quarter giving him the all time record for boys basketball. He ended the game on Friday at 1531 points.
