State Senator Terri Bryant has been appointed to serve in a new leadership role as the minority spokesperson for the Senate Energy and Public Utilities in the 103rd General Assembly.
“It’s an honor to take on the responsibility of being the Senate Republicans’ Minority Spokesperson for the Senate Energy and Public Utilities Committee,” said Bryant. “It’s no secret that Illinois has faced several recent energy-related issues, whether that be rate hikes or potential power plant closures. I look forward to the committee’s first meeting, so we can begin tackling these issues and ensure that our state’s energy policies benefits everyone who calls Illinois their home.”
