Monday night, the Red Bud City Council took a moment during their meeting to remember Chad Grohmann.
Mayor Susan Harbaugh called for a moment of silence for Grohmann who had passed away on Jan. 20.
“I just wanted to pause for a moment to recognize Chad Grohmann. Chad worked for the city since Jan. 4, 2016. He was hired as a laborer in the street department and later moved to a support person role. In his current position, he was our water system operator and was in training to be the city’s next Class A operator. He was a valued and beloved employee,” she stated.
