On Jan. 30, a public hearing was held by the Evansville Village Board to discuss the possibility of annexing several properties into the village.
Up for consideration were six property parcels on Broad Street and two on Sixth Street.
Village President Kenny Kempfer noted that it was an informational meeting. “We have talked about annexing for years,” he stated. “We just don’t want to do it behind anyone’s back.”
