RBHS students built new grills for Red Bud Fire Department

BUILT NEW GRILLS–Three Red Bud High School students, Ethan Hahn, Jack Roscow and Jack Ford, recently designed and built new grills for the Red Bud Fire Department. Look for these grills to be used at the annual Firemen’s Picnic this summer.

Three students in Jared Piel’s precision metals I class at Red Bud High School recently finished a special project that they took on this year.

Early in the school year, the Red Bud Fire Department approached Piel and asked if he would have anyone in his classes interested in making new barbecue grills for the Red Bud Fire Department/Firemen’s Picnic to replace the old ones that were starting to get in bad shape.

“I feel that for all the Red Bud Firemen do for our community and the sacrifices they make on a daily basis, this project was a perfect way to continue to thank and support our firemen for all that they do for our community,” Piel shared.
