One arrested following six hour standoff in Chester

Chester Police Chief Bobby A. Helmers on April 3 shared a press release about the incident that took place in Chester.

The release noted that on April 2, at approximately 11:58 a.m., the Chester Police Department received a call in reference to possible shots being fired in the vicinity of the 600 block of State Street.

Chester Police officers responded to the area and were advised that a male subject at 644A State Street fired several rounds from his back porch.
