UNVEIL SIGN–Members of the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail Coalition and other local officials are pictured at the Jan. 21 unveiling of the sign for the abandoned village of Reily Lake.
Another sign along the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail was unveiled by the KCT Coalition on the morning of Jan. 21.
Over the past few years, the coalition has posted two dozen informational signs that tell the history and development of the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail.
This new sign honors the now abandoned village of Reily Lake, located near the Pierre Menard Home, in Randolph County.
For more on the new sign, please see this week’s print edition.
