Red Bud will return to the Gridiron this week in a bit of a different way.
“Covid has definitely thrown us for a loop this year. I never would have imagined spring football at the high school level, but here we are. We have had some of the best weather to practice in temperature wise and the kids seem genuinely excited to play” stated Musketeers’ Head Coach David Lucht when asked if the team is ready for the upcoming season.
The season will consist of six games with Columbia being the first opponent.
“Although there won’t be play-offs this year, our goal is to play the same caliber of football that a play-off qualifier would warrant.”
