An open house event was held on May 29 at Dieterich Bank’s Red Bud South branch to congratulate Karla Mueth on her retirement.
Mueth started as a part time teller at the bank on Jan. 15, 1978 while in her senior year of high school through the school’s co-op work program. After graduation she became a full time teller and bookkeeper.
Over the years, she’s served in numerous roles at the bank, including vice president of operations and later the branch manager for the Red Bud North branch.
