Modoc woman charged in cannabis dealing ring

A Modoc woman and two Waterloo men have been charged for their parts in a cannabis dealing ring.

The Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois worked the case and noted it involved the United States Postal Service.

Recently charged in the Monroe County Circuit Court with unlawful delivery of cannabis, a Class 2 felony, was Lori A. Uhl, 52.

TheRepublic-Timesis reporting that court information states on May 1, 2020, Uhl delivered between 500 and 2,000 grams of cannabis to Jason M. Doore, 29, and Brett A. Myers, 28, both of Waterloo.

Uhl turned herself in and was released from the Monroe County Jail after posting $7,500 (10 percent of her $75,000 bond). Her next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Monroe County Courthouse.
