A county commissioner being selected to serve on a community initiative was a highlight of the March 3 Randolph County Board meeting.
Commissioner Marc Kiehna reported that he had been elected by the National Association of Counties to serve on their Building Resilient Economies in Coal Communities (BRECC) initiative, the Commitment Coalition and Action Challenge.
“I am pleased I was chosen to be one of the 20 selected across 13 states,” Kiehna stated. He noted that he will be meeting with his fellow coalition members in meetings via Zoom, as well as some meetings held in other states.
