FFA is staying busy while working towards getting a new greenhouse

GREENHOUSE WORKERS–Pictured while working in the Red Bud High School FFA’s greenhouse last week are: Evan Mudd, Madison Falkenhain, Kylie Tobin and Matte Easton. They are just a part of the FFA’s greenhouse committee that works in the greenhouse year round.

On a typical summer afternoon, while mostly unseen by the public, there is still a lot of activity going on in the greenhouse at Red Bud High School.

For the FFA and the agricultural classes at the high school, the greenhouse plays an important role. However, the school’s greenhouse is almost 30 years old now and in need of repairs and updating.

At the June Red Bud Board of Education meeting, several members of the FFA gave a presentation highlighting the need for a new, more modern and efficient greenhouse.
