The Illinois Community College Board and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission have partnered to expand community-wide events to assist with FAFSA completion. Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) will be hosting a free FAFSA completion assistance event throughout the entire month of August 2024.
Class of 2024 seniors in the community are encouraged to seek FAFSA completion assistance available in the financial aid, veteran services and student services office on SWIC’s Belleville Campus. Students could qualify for up to $7,395 in Federal Pell grants for the 2024-2025 school year.
Free food and beverages will be available for attendees, and class of 2024 graduating high school seniors are eligible to receive a gift card for attending.
