Several updates were given to the Randolph County Board of Commissioners at their Sept. 29 meeting.
County Engineer Grant Deterding reported that the road crews were finishing up mowing for the season. He also noted that the County Highway 18 project was originally supposed to finish that week, but had been delayed about a week due to rain.
From the care center, Administrator Michelle Cato stated they had 52 residents. She also shared that they are getting ready for the center’s annual fall bazaar on Oct. 20. This year the event is moving off site and will be held next door in the community center at the fairgrounds in Sparta.
