The April 1 consolidated election will be held next Tuesday, April 1. While there are not many contested races locally, it is still important that people go out and vote in this election.
Among the contested races is that for Evansville trustee.
Running are Darren Kempfer, Nick Koester, Andria Zweigart and Scott Stumpe. They are all vying for the three available trustee positions. Of these candidates, only Kempfer currently serves on the board.
While not contested races, there are two noteworthy ones in Prairie du Rocher.
For the position of village president and the three Prairie du Rocher Board of Education positions, there are no candidates listed on the ballot. However, a write in candidate for each has been announced.
