STATE CHAMPS–Two members of the Southern Illinois Bulldogs Wrestling Club were named state champions. They were Mason Mehring, pictured above, and ChaCha Little, below.
Last weekend the Southern Illinois Bulldogs Wrestling Club took 23 wrestlers to the Peoria Civic Center for the IKWF State Tournament and brought home two state champions.
Mason Mehring of Red Bud wrestled in, and won, the senior division at 188 pounds. He is the son of Matthew and Michelle Mehring.
ChaCha Little is from Rochester and travels all the way to Red Bud to be a member of the Bulldogs team. She wrestled in, and won, the senior division at 85 pounds. She is the daughter of Danyelle and Shad Little.
