The 2025 Kaskaskia Eagle Fest event will be held on Saturday, March 1 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Jerry F. Costello Lock & Dam in Modoc (4800 Lock and Dam Road).
Join in for eagle watching and meet some feathered friends from the World Bird Sanctuary at 9, 11, and 1. Also be sure to catch the wildlife presentations given by the Animology at 10 and 2. Tours of the lock and dam will be available by project staff at 10:30, 11:30, and 1:30. Also on hand will be several vendors, a live flint knapping demonstration and kids crafts. Breakfast, lunch and non-alcoholic beverages will be available from a local vendor throughout the day until sold out. This event is free to all – families and leash-trained dogs welcome for the event.
