Western Egyptian Head Start will hold preschool screenings the morning of Friday, March 26. Any Randolph, Perry or Monroe County child who is birth to four years old is encouraged to be screened. This does not include children who will be age-eligible for kindergarten in the fall.
Children will be given a free developmental screening and results will be shared with parents. Parents are strongly urged to attend the screening in order to have their child’s development assessed and to gain information about their child’s strengths and needs. Parent will also be given information about the Head Start program, questions will be answered, and parents may complete a Head Start application. Head Start has openings at all of their locations for the 2021-2022 school year.
