The softball Musketeers had quite a big week, continuing their winning streak to a total of 10 victories in a row.
They started out the week traveling to Okawville on April 18 and winning 6-1. Olivia Geralds picked up her eighth pitching win of the season, helping secure the team’s fourth conference win.
Traveling to Columbia next, Red Bud came up with a 1-0 win, battling with the bats to the very end. Lyla Hess and Jayna Bast had two hits each, and Josie Meyer had a huge sacrifice bunt to score Alexis Koester for the one run. Geralds continued her great season with 10 strikeouts that game, putting her at her ninth win of the season.
