Two Red Bud teachers named VFW District 14 Teachers of the Year

VFW DISTRICT TEACHERS OF THE YEAR–Receiving awards at VFW Illinois District 14 Teachers of the Year were Amanda Ruhmann and Bill Menn. VFW Illinois District 14 Teacher of the Year presentations were made at the District meeting on March 10 at Mascoutah VFW Post 7682.

The K-5 winner was Amanda Ruhmann, an art teacher at St. John’s Lutheran School in Red Bud. The 9-12 grade winner was Bill Menn, a civics for special education students teacher at Red Bud High School.

Both applications were submitted to the District level by Red Bud Post 6632 and Auxiliary.
