Red Bud Police Chief John Brittingham would like to let residents and any visitors to downtown know that soon parking signs will be put up.
He noted that there is a two hour limit on parking in the first few blocks of downtown Red Bud, however as there were no signs posted, the parking limit was not enforced.
Brittingham stated that once the parking limit signs go up, the two hour time limit will be enforced.
City Engineer/Code Administrator Jeff Mueller added that the signs have been ordered and should be installed in about a month.
The enforcement time for parking downtown will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
