Two arrested for home invasion, aggravated battery

This week, Randolph County Sheriff Jarrod Peters announced the arrest of two men in connection to a home invasion and aggravated battery investigation at Phegley’s Resort, in rural Modoc.

This investigation began on May 24, when Randolph County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Phegley’s Resort for a disturbance around 8 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that Kodi A. Lafore, 28, of Evansville, and Phillip W. Law, 33, of Cottage Hills, had arrived at a residence, and allegedly committed a home invasion and aggravated batteries.
