Two accidents were reported this weekend on the west end of Red Bud.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reported a one vehicle accident near the intersection of State Route 3 and Amberwood Lane on Saturday, April 13 at 12:38 p.m.
According to their report, Michael Korando, 54, of Ellis Grove, was driving a 1947 GMC Sierra north on State Route 3. Approximately 0.2 miles south of Amberwood Lane, the vehicle experienced an equipment defect which caused Korando to lose control. The vehicle went off the road to the right, came back across State Route 3 and then off the road to the left, striking a ditch and coming to rest in a field.
