SCC PRESENTS–The Sparta Community Chorus will hold performances of their winter play, “Drinking Habits, Caught in the Act,” this weekend and next weekend. Pictured are cast members: in front: Jimmy Gardner, Mikayla Goodwin, Jalene Goetting and Wilson Welch; in back: Christian Stechmesser, Mary Niemeyer, Bill Revis, Erica Revis, Stephanie Reid and Logan Schoenbeck.
Drinking Habits, Caught in the Act tells the story of The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing, and how they miss the excitement of the old days (exactly one year ago) when they were secretly making and selling communion wine to help pay the bills and keep the convent from shutting down. So when they learn that the orphanage where Paul and Kate grew up is in peril, they can’t wait to come to the rescue.
Under the direction of Mary Niemeyer, this show is just plain silly and will have the audience laughing from start to finish.
