Thanks to those who attended the Nov. 8, Wine-o-Bingo event, as well as the vendors and especially DeVinos, Red Bud Auxiliary to VFW Post 6632 was able to donate their proceeds of $1,100 to Deb Opel, the McKinney Vento homeless liaison for District 132. Red Bud Auxiliary also adopted four children from Opel’s list of needy children and delivered wrapped Christmas gifts. Presenting the check and gifts to Opel is Red Bud Auxiliary President Kathryn Rowold. The Auxiliary appreciates Opel for all she does for the homeless and needy in our community.
