On July 24, Red Bud Auxiliary to VFW Post 6632 promoted patriotism through literacy by hosting a “Patriotic Cow” themed story time at the Red Bud Library for birth to second grade children. Auxiliary Senior Vice President Kathryn Rowold read “How to Speak Cow.” That was followed by children making patriotic cow masks and each received an American flag.
