On the evening of Thursday, May 7, the Red Bud City Council held a special meeting with only one item on the agenda, a personnel matter.
Following a 31 minute executive session, the council unanimously approved of dismissing Officer Casey Harget.
Harget was hired by the council earlier this year at their March 2 meeting.
