Shirley Mae Smith, 90, of Ruma, passed away at 2:07 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon. The visitation is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, April 23 at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 23 at Pechacek Funeral Homes. The funeral home is limited to 50 people in the building at a time. Everyone is asked to wear a mask and please use social distancing guidelines. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prairie du Rocher.
