A young Prairie du Rocher woman was fatally injured in one of two one vehicle accidents that was reported in the local area over the weekend.
The fatal accident was reported in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 19 in the Modoc area.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 2:29 a.m., Emilie R. Kingston, 24, of Waterloo, was driving a 2022 Jeep Wrangler northbound on Levee Road. Near the intersection with Modoc Ferry Road, the vehicle left the roadway, overturned and came to rest north of Modoc Ferry Road.
An initial report stated that a subject was ejected.
