The Prairie du Rocher Board of Education held its regular meeting on Aug. 16.
Under discussion of the treasurer’s report, the board discussed the CDs that were coming due for renewal soon. They will pursue the best possible rates when they decide to renew.
The school will be doing its fall MAP testing in the next two weeks, and will submit the school improvement plan based on those scores.
Superintendent Rob Pipher reported that the opening of school has gone very smoothly. Gratitude was expressed to the PTO, which provided T-shirts for everyone and popcorn during open house. The enrollment as of the meeting was at 128.
