Red Bud School District #132 school requirements, as mandated by the Illinois State Board of Education:
Physical/immunization requirements: All students entering pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, sixth grade, ninth grade, out of state students and any student entering an Illinois school for the first time must have physical and up-to-date immunizations by Sept. 15. The physical must have been completed within 12 months. An athletic exam will not be accepted for the physical exam. Appointment dates after the Sept. 15 deadline will not be accepted. Students that do not provide the required exam and immunizations will be excluded from school until such requirements are met.
New Illinois immunization requirement: All students entering sixth grade and 12th grade will be required to show proof of recent meningococcal vaccination given at appropriate intervals. Additional immunizations requirements for all grades can be found at www.idph.state.il.us.
