A food service management company was approved for the upcoming school year at the May 16 Red Bud Board of Education meeting.
Superintendent Jonathan Tallman noted that the board had put out for bid back in March for a food service management company.
He added that the district is wanting to transition to a company for this as the rules for what schools can serve students keeps changing and can be hard to keep up with. “So we’re going outside with a third party that is focused on this and specialized in dealing with it.”
