The Musketeer baseball team started off last week looking to get a conference win by traveling to Chester. The game was competitive going into the top of the fifth inning, tied at two. This was when the Musketeer offense erupted. The batters put up nine runs in the top of the fifth, and then after a scoreless bottom half of the inning, proceeded to put up another 13 runs in the top of the sixth, led by a Dylan Minemann three run home run. Thomas Friess was also dominant as the only Red Bud hurler, striking out seven and allowing no earned runs. Red Bud got the statement win over the conference rival Jackets by a wide margin, winning 22-2.
