Red Bud lost a long time business owner last week with the passing of Roger L. Hanebutt.
Hanebutt, 78, passed away on Jan. 8. He had owned and operated Hanebutt Builders, a family business he took over from his father.
He had also been active in the community. He was currently serving as the president of the Red Bud Lions Club; was a past commander of the Red Bud VFW Post; and a member of the Evansville American Legion.
The funeral for Hanebutt was held on Jan. 13 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud.
