Red Bud Elementary School will be holding a preschool screening for children who will be eligible for preschool during the 2021-2022 school year on Monday, March 8 and Monday, March 15 for children who reside in the Red Bud District #132.
To be eligible, the child must be at least 3 years old, but not turning 5, on or before Sept. 1, 2021. Children who are eligible will be asked to try a variety of simple tasks in the areas of language, concepts and motor. It is strongly recommended that all parents of preschoolers take advantage of this service. Vision, hearing and speech articulation are also assessed.
Results will be discussed with parents immediately following their child’s completion of the screening. The screening and follow-up service, if needed, are provided free of charge. The screening will take about one hour to complete.
