It was a brief meeting for the Red Bud City Council on Monday night, but three ordinances were among the items approved.
The first ordinance approved was to update the city’s utility tap fees.
City Superintendent Josh Eckart had originally brought the matter up at the October committee meetings. At that time, he reported that he looks at the fees every year, but lately prices had jumped considerably, and they needed to consider updating them to reflect these prices.
The second ordinance addressed a property that had been deemed dangerous and unsafe.
