Proposed park updates were the biggest topic of conversation at Monday night’s Red Bud City Council meeting.
The council has previously discussed during committee meetings paving the main parking lot, as well as adding a dumpster pad and fencing at Ratz Park. Some aldermen wanted to wait on these park improvement items until after they get a better idea on the costs for the pool repair project. Others felt that the splash pad at the park will draw more people to the park this year and they want it to look nicer as renovations there are long overdue.
So Monday night, Alderman Kyle Donjon noted that they had a few options for the Ratz Park parking lot project.
