Senior Hunter Hooten will represent Red Bud High School at the IHSA state track meet at Eastern Illinois University on May 28.
Hooten won the 300m hurdles at the Chester sectional on May 20 with a time of 41.94 seconds. He placed second in the 110m hurdles recording a new personal record of 15.86 seconds to advance in this event as well.
Hunter is the son of Robbie and Heather Hooten.
