PUTTING INTO PLACE–Pictured is the new aerator being lifted into place after the old one had been removed last week at the City of Red Bud’s water plant.
Oct. 25 was an exciting day at the City of Red Bud’s water plant, as the aerator was getting replaced.
City Superintendent Josh Eckart noted, “This project has been in the works for several years now, and the replacement of this equipment is vital to the continued efforts being made to improve water quality.”
He added that the process to replace the water plant’s aerator started back in August of 2020 following an initial internal inspection.
