Musketeers travel to DuQuoin for first tournament of the season

by Nick Fehr

Red Bud traveled to DuQuoin to play DuQuoin in their own tournament on Thursday, Dec. 1.

The Musketeers started off with a couple of turnovers that led to buckets on the other end for the Indians. The Musketeers were on a long scoring drought for the first three minutes and couldn’t seem to get a bucket. The first points of the game came from Noah Gantner’s 1 for 2 trip to the charity stripe. The first field goal made came from a Nick Fehr layup five minutes into the first quarter, followed by a three and another made layup from a steal. DuQuoin led 33-13 at the end of the first quarter.
