Red Bud continued their winning ways Friday night with a blow out win over the Madison Trojans.
The game began with both teams playing to a scoreless stalemate for most of the first quarter until the Musketeers finally reached the end zone on a two-yard touchdown dive for six points by Frank Ford to get on the board. Devin Hall came down with the ball for the two-point play, and the boys were up 8-0 late in the first frame.
During the second quarter, Red Bud turned it up a notch, adding scores by Parker Van Dorn on a four-yard TD pass from Quarterback Easton Lucht; Lucht took it in himself for the two-point and Red Bud was up 16-0. The third score of the game came on a six-yard TD scamper by Nick Gantner followed by a two-point conversion catch by Kobe Brosch to put the Musketeers up 24-0 at the half.
