The Kaskaskia Cahokia Trail Coalition is pleased to announce a special event coming this September. The Road Rally, taking place on Saturday, Sept. 25, is a fun family event, giving participants the opportunity to travel the Kaskaskia Cahokia Trail, with stops at 12 historic sites along the way.
The 60-mile long auto tour route connects tourists with so many opportunities to learn about the area’s history along scenic backroads and peaceful prairie land. The fall season is especially a magnificent time of year to explore the Kaskaskia-Cahokia Trail. Colorful woodland foliage surrounds the trail along the majestic bluffs and rolling agricultural and forested landscapes.
